Autumn is one of the best times to visit Budapest; the summer crowds have ebbed away and numerous seasonal events are taking place. Here are a couple of our highlights on what’s coming up:
CAFe Budapest festival
The CAFe Budapest festival takes places this year from the 2nd to the 18th of October. Across the city, forty venues host live music, theatre, art exhibitions and much more. Each of the events pay tribute to a Hungarian great whether it be jazz, dance or opera.
Palinka and Sausage Festival
Budapest’s Pálinka and Sausage Festival runs from the 3rd to the 5th of October. Pálinka distillers (Hungarian brandy) and renowned sausage makers collaborate to create this unique gastronomic event at Castle Hill. The festival offers a combination of the best in pálinka, great food and entertainment.
